This rail dimension is MIL-STD-1913. It is made by precision CNC process, which ensures precise edges and engagement tab/billet for perfectly fits and solid installation onto the forend of KSG (T.Marui).
The rail is strong and lightweight. It adds safety on the forend of KSG, because the rail spreads the force of racking action over the full length of the plastic lower rail of forend, rather than a short section.
